Hi everybody! The new remix album will be out in aprox. two weeks, but I can give you my first impressions right now. I have the CD and am not impressed. Here I only comment on the new remixes: Oxygene 7 by DJ Cam. Basically some acoustic funky jazzy James Brown-type drums with the 4 first sounds of Oxy7 on top. The bass has been reproduced in parts with a distortion filter. Rating 3 of 10. Oxygene 8 Transmix: It's quite good with a driving bass rythm and a white-noise sound that sounds very similar to to "train" sound on Kraftwerk's Trans Europe express. The track is based on the chords of Oxy8 and is not remixed beyond recognition. Halfway in the song the chorus us replayed with a powerfull new lead sound. A nice remix, but not as catchy as Hanis Club remix. Rating 5 of 10 Oxygene 11 Remix: It's too short and is basically the original track with a heavy bass drum and additional rythm effects. Rating 6 of 10. Oxygene 12  by Claude Monnet: A very good remix. In fact, this is a REAL remix in which the DJ plays around with the original song and re-adjust the original sounds. Of course there are many new sounds also, but it has the same mood as the original song but with a more "confused techno" approach. The most creative remix on this album. Rating 8 of 10. Rendez-vous 98 by Apollo 440: Haven't heard the other remixes from this group of RV-98, but this is just breakbeat techno rythms with the lead being played once in there somewere. A poor remix that has very little to do with Rendez-vous 4. Rating 3 of 10. Oxygene 13 by TK: As a stand-alone track this is nice techno-pop, but it is the same thing here as with RV-98: A lot of sounds and rythms that is completely new, and then the dreamy chords of O13 played once in the middle. Rating 3 of 10. OK, this is my impressions after having listened to the CD a few times. I do not guarantee that I won't change opinion later...

Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the HAL plant in Urbana, Illinois, on the 12th of January, 1997. My instructor was Dr. Chandra, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it, I can sing it for you. It's called "Daisy". "Daisy, Daisy, gime me your answer do. I'm half-crazy...

Jean, your music i for the first time have heard in childhood. Now i can not live without your music. I have all your discs, and all video-concerts. But i have not a video-concert "OXYGENE IN MOSCOW". In September 1997 you have carried out my dream, by presenting a concert in my native city - Moscow. When i have learned (found out) that you will come, i very much was delighted. I wanted to fond you in Moscow to take from you the autograph, but has not found you. Many people came on a concert for viewing salute, but i have come to hear and to see you remarkable magic music. Your concert i shall not overlook (forget) never. Come to us still, and give me autograpn!
