Soy mexicano y ya tengo boletos para el mundial de futbol. me gustaría saber si existe algún evento programado de Jean Michell. También me gustaría conocer la razón de la cancelación de su concierto en México-Teotihuacán del Eclipse, hace algunos años. Espero respuesta

Jean-Michel, I bet your new album took you a really long time to make. 5 minutes? Maybe if I listen to it I will change my mind? Then I might say 10 minutes.

Greetings to all Jarre fans out there in www land! I first really heard Jean Michel Jarre's music about 14 months ago when a friend bought Oxygene parts 7-13, and lent it to me for the weekend. Since then, I've not only become a convert to synthesised music, I've gone and bought as many of the albums as I can afford (Not easy when you're a student) I have to confess I love the purity of the music -especially the Oxygene's. It seems to me to be the last real expression of emotion and meaning using music itself at the moment. None of the rest of my friends quite understand; but that's OK: they didn't see Jarre in concert in London last Summer!(The best concert I've ever seen, and by far and away one of the most spectacular things I've ever witnessed, as my fellow Jarre liking friend can testify from my face when the lasers kicked in, apparently!) If they had, or if they'd been out watching the comet; Hale-Bop in the middle of no-where, on a wonderfully clear night with no ground-based lights to spoil it, with the Oxygene's playing in the background, then maybe they'd understand. What do the rest of you think? I don't think you can really quantify the music; it can only speak for itself. That is, after all, its purpose. He's got to go down as one of, if not the greatest electronic mucisian ever- certainly the most significant. Scratch that, he's got to go down as one of the greatest mucisians ever, period. If anyone knows when he next performs live (preferably in the UK! Please, Please God!!) do let me know! Jean Michel- this is your fault. You've inspired me enough to spend all of my student loan on different keyboards for my PC (You've got to start somewhere I suppose) so now I'm completely broke. But please come back to Britain anyway. Now, If you'll excuse me, I've got to go an listen to Cities in Concert again.... (PS; anyone out there know if there are any video's of concerts available? If you do, please let me know!)

Jean-Michel, you are the best keyboard musician in the world. I was in your Oxygéne tour "97 in Helsinki, and it was spectacular show. All those lasers, lights, sound, keyboards etc... I like your music very much. I think the Roland JP-8000 is the most best digital analog in "90´s. Anyone who read this, would you write mail to me...you JMJ fan. Like you all will see i´m from finland. Jean-Michel rulezzzz. If you (everyone) know where JMJ is playing next outdoor mega concert. mail me

I really enjoy seeing that JMJ's popularity has not waned at all in Europe. Here in America, he is a treasure for those of us who discovered him so many years ago and continue to enjoy his talents for some time

With your talents I am suprised you havent landed a sound track with a major film. After all...like the sticker on your latest cd says..."techno's internationlal master" and they're not joking (WOW). Up until your latest release I was afraid you fell off the face of the earth...I and many I know are glad your back. I would appreciate some info on how to get a copy of Magnetic Fields. good luck and keep up the fine work. Darren. darren@unnet.com

I first experienced the music of Jean Michel Jarre at the age of five. Even then it evoked new and exciting images in my mind. Images which have been with me ever since. Jean Michel's music has been a soundtrack to my life, always fitting my mood, with each project, forever exploring new sonic landscapes.(If you read this Jean Michel, Please drop me an e-mail ! It is one of my greatest ambitions to meet you. I came close at Wembley & Manchester '93 , Eiffel Tower '95, and Birmingham '97.) Thankyou for your work. You will never know just how you have touched our lives with your music and concerts. I bet you find it hard to believe everything you have achieved ! Thankyou Jean Michel I look forward to meeting you.
