about oxygene 7-13, i am not dissapointed since it´s the best he´s made for years. Chronologie wasn´t very exciting. I was in Stockholm and saw him live and that was an experience beyond belief.

Well we should not be surprised, but Jean Michel attracts 3.5 MILLION to a concert, and what do we get from rhe media ? Nothing. BBC, ITV, SKY, newspapers, absolutley nothing. If it was Oasis or Blur we would never hear the end of it, and we would be told it was the first time a huge audience went to a concert. Why is this ? I'd love ti hear anyone comments on this. On another topic, well done to all concerned on the back catalogue re releases. Much better packaging, and <Zoolook> back to its former glory, with the original mixes intact. <Magnetic Fields> also has the very end of part 1 returned. Congratulations on your decision to get back to the genuine forms and roots of electronic music. Oxygene 7-13 is a good start in that direction, and I hope you will continue the same way (Equinoxe 9-21 (!?) could fit quite nicely for the millenium, don't you think so ?) Although you said that you had approached this project without any particular strategy, and that that was your usual way of composing, I suppose there must be at least some idea about what kind of atmosphere you intend to create, which results as well in main music theme and in the mixtures of sounds and shadows of which you are so unique. I'd like to ask you to write on your web site a couple of general processes that you follow when making any music or, say, some particular album whose process of making you enjoyed the best and which, at the same time, is instructive. Probably many of your fans would be interested to know more precisely the main and absolutely necessary things you have in mind while composing and/or recording. I hope you will come here in Belgrade some day (But I also hope we won't have to wait by the time the Hale-Bopp comet visits the Solar system next time, though!). You would be amazed how popular your music has always been here. (Ugh! The damn politicians won't let us live and breathe normally...but it's gonna change soon.)
